Electrical EWP Hire Brisbane

From commercial lighting and electrical installations to power infrastructure and high-level maintenance, electrical work regularly takes you well above ground level.

Performance Tower Hire provides EWP hire for electricians and electrical contractors across Brisbane and South East Queensland. With truck-mounted EWPs and spider lifts covering different heights, reaches and access conditions, we can help you get the right machine onto your site.

EWP Hire for Electrical Work

Our regular customers include electricians working on a commercial fitout, contractors maintaining electrical infrastructure and many more electrical-oriented operators.

Whatever electrical job you’re tackling at heights, we can guide you to the right EWP hire to get you up there safely. Our fleet supports electrical work across the following:

Commercial Lighting

Get your electricians up to high-bay lights, external building lighting, car park fixtures and other lighting systems installed well above ground level.

Powerlines and Electrical Infrastructure

Access overhead electrical infrastructure for approved installation, inspection and maintenance work. M31A-qualified operators are available for relevant jobs.

Electrical Installation

Reach elevated areas for the installation of cabling, conduits and electrical equipment across new builds, upgrades and fitouts.

Industrial Electrical Work

Give your electricians access to lighting, equipment and electrical services across warehouses, factories, workshops and other industrial facilities.

Communications and Data

Reach antennas, cabling, communications equipment and other elevated infrastructure where standard access equipment won't get the job done.

Electrical Maintenance and Repairs

Get into position for fault finding, component replacement and scheduled maintenance on electrical equipment installed at height.

Need Elevated Access for an Electrical Job?

Tell us what your electricians need to reach and any access restrictions around the site. We'll help you find an EWP that fits the job.

The Best EWPs to Hire for Electrical Work

Working height matters, but don't forget about outreach. An electrician may need to reach over a building, position alongside electrical infrastructure or work around obstacles that prevent the EWP from sitting directly below the work area.

Site access width and ground conditions also play a part.

Performance Tower Hire has EWPs for everything from straightforward commercial electrical jobs through to high-reach infrastructure work. Give us the site details and we'll help you narrow down your options. Here are three you can consider, but be sure to check out the rest of our EWP fleet for hire here.

PTH201 | 20m Socage T320

Compact enough for tighter sites while still giving your electrician up to 20m of working height and 11m of outreach. PTH201 is a practical option for a range of electrical jobs where you need good reach without bringing in a larger truck. It’s also our largest machine available for dry hire.

PTH281 | 28m Cela DT28

The PTH281 gives electrical contractors a step up in height and outreach for larger commercial, industrial and infrastructure jobs. For jobs beyond the reach of our smaller units, the Cela DT28 gives you extra capability without jumping straight to one of our biggest trucks. Available for wet hire only.

PTH542 | 54m Socage TJJ54

For major electrical and infrastructure work, the PTH542 reaches up to 54m, with up to 40m of horizontal outreach and a 600kg basket. It also carries a 1,500kg winch, handy where electrical equipment or materials need to be lifted up to the basket. Wet hire only for this big machine.

Why Hire Your Electrical EWP from Performance Tower Hire?

Hire It Your Way

Need the machine and an operator? We offer wet hire across our fleet. If you have a qualified operator on your electrical crew, selected EWPs up to 20m are also available for dry hire.

Specialist Operators

For wet hire, you get an experienced operator who knows the machine and works alongside your electricians on site. We also have M31A-qualified operators available for relevant work around electrical infrastructure.

Reach That Matches the Job

A lighting replacement and a major infrastructure project have very different access requirements. Our fleet ranges from compact 20m units through to 54m truck-mounted EWPs, plus spider lifts for jobs where truck access isn't practical.

Equipment Ready to Work

Electrical jobs don't need downtime caused by access equipment. Our EWPs are regularly inspected, serviced and maintained. Compliance and reliability is part of the job, not an afterthought.

Fair, Straightforward Pricing

We keep our EWP hire rates competitive and straightforward. You get the right machine for the job at a fair price, with clear advice on your hire options and no push to hire more equipment than you actually need.

Local Knowledge, Practical Support

We're based in Brisbane and work with contractors across SEQ. Tell us what your electricians need to reach, where the machine can be positioned and what restrictions you're dealing with. We'll help you narrow down the right EWP.

Wet or Dry Electrical EWP Hire

Already have a licensed EWP operator on your electrical crew? Dry hire may be all you need. For specialist jobs or larger machines, we can provide the EWP and operator together. Dry hire is only available up to a working height of 20m, so if you need a bigger machine then it will come manned by one of our experienced operators.

Wet Hire

With wet hire, we supply an experienced operator along with the EWP. Your electrician can concentrate on the electrical work while our operator handles the machine. It's a practical choice for specialist access jobs, short-term work and larger EWPs where you don't have a suitable operator available. M31A-qualified operators are also available for relevant work around electrical infrastructure.

Dry Hire

For dry hire, you need an operator on your crew with the right ticket and a decent amount of experience. They can man the machine, and you won’t need one of our operators on site. Dry hire can work particularly well for longer projects where your electricians need regular elevated access throughout the job. It's available on selected machines up to 20m. For higher jobs, wet hire is the go.

Spider Lift Hire for Electricians

Electrical equipment isn't always conveniently located beside an open driveway. You could be working behind a building, between structures, inside an industrial facility or somewhere a truck-mounted EWP simply can't reach.

That's where a spider lift gives you options.

Navigating Tricky Site Access

Our tracked spider lifts combine substantial working height with a compact footprint, opening up access to areas where larger equipment may not be practical.

They can suit electrical work around existing buildings, industrial facilities, warehouses and restricted accessways, as well as sites with challenging ground conditions.

Palazzani XTJ43 | 43m Spider Lift

Our PTH 431 is the Palazzani XTJ43, which provides 43m of working height from a compact tracked platform. Its minimal ground footprint makes it particularly useful where space is tight or the work area is separated from suitable truck access.

For electrical contractors, that can mean getting an electrician into position without relying on a large truck being able to park directly beside the work area. Read our guide on Brisbane spider lift hire for more information.
