EWP Dry Hire in Brisbane and SEQ

Our machine. Your operator. Your schedule.

Dry hire is straightforward: we deliver the right truck-mounted EWP to your site, your licensed operator takes the controls, and you get on with the job. No operator to coordinate, no third party on your site. You get a well-maintained and compliant machine that's ready to work from the moment it arrives.

Got a licensed operator and the details of the upcoming job? Get in touch and let’s figure out the right elevated work platform for you.

The Right Machine Makes the Difference

Not all hire machines are equal. A poorly maintained EWP can come loaded with compliance issues, or be so unreliable on the day that it holds up your job.

Every Performance Tower Hire EWP is serviced and log-booked to AS 2550, the Australian Standard for the safe use and inspection of elevating work platforms. Service records are current and available if they need to be sighted before the job begins.

Our machines are ready for full days of working at heights. When you dry hire from us, you get consistent reliability across our entire fleet of EWPs.

When Dry Hire Works

Dry hire is the right call when:

  • Your team has a licensed WP High Risk Work Licence holder ready to go. Every machine in the PTH fleet has a boom over 11m, so a current WP licence is required for all dry hire.
  • You're running a regular program of work and want to keep your operator on the controls throughout.
  • You have the ground crew and site coordination sorted and just need the machine.
  • You're a hire business or contractor who brings your own certified team to every job.

If your operator's licence is current and your site is prepped, dry hire is the most cost efficient way to access the machine you need.

Not sure whether dry hire or wet hire suits your job? Our wet hire vs dry hire guide covers the decision in detail.

What Industries Choose Dry Hire?

Electrical and telco contractors. When a specific machine is needed for a run of work, dry hire keeps costs lean and your licensed operators on the controls they know.

Arborists. Tree crews with licensed operators on staff often prefer to run their own team on a hired machine. Dry hire gives you the EWP; your operator handles the rest.

Painters and facade contractors. Ongoing programs of work — repaints, facade maintenance, multi-site contracts — suit dry hire well when you have consistent operator availability.

Construction contractors. Site managers coordinating their own crews often want to specify the machine and run it with their own people. Dry hire gives you that control.

Signage and installation crews. Repeat hirers with a regular team and a WP licence holder on staff. Dry hire is the efficient, cost-effective option for jobs you run week in, week out.
